The Days are Definitely Getting Shorter

The sunrise was at 6:13am and the sun is rising way too close to the shore. Before I know it, I will have to trek to the park to get a better view. .

We are actually losing 2 minutes of daylight a day. A great reason to make sure we all take some time out to enjoy the Lake.

A Rainbow in the Evening

An evening I have waited for, a beautiful sun setting to the West, a steady drizzle on property and a rainbow from the East. The colors never got brighter than pastel, however, it was a great depiction of Mother Nature's Splendor.

The Firetruck Parade passes through Geneva-on-the-Lake Village

I was watering flowers Saturday afternoon and heard sirens. My first instinct was On No, Nathan just left on his motorcycle. The sound grew louder and closer. Then low and behold, nine units parade by, what a site! The 2nd Annual "Firefighters Round-up" was about to begin.

The weather was picture-perfect for the festivities (Last year, rain really dampened the event).
