Ice on the Rocks and The Holiday Trek

Well Old Man Winter has definitely moved in. The ice on the rocks is a vivid clue to "His" presence .I was walking down the steps toward the beach and saw a family of ducks bathing. the unfortunate part is they also saw me and flew away. I did get a glimpse of them leaving.

Here are a few shots of the property. Although the sun is shining and the sky bright blue it is very lonely looking, don't you think?

The chairs on the patios are almost crying for a guest to venture out and sit on them to melt the snow and warm them up.

Oh a happier note, we had the privilege of being part of the Geneva-on-the-Lake Holiday Trek last weekend. Here Andrea is playing photographer after the group finished their snack of Four Cheese Pasta with Chicken accompanied by Holiday Mimosa.

Here they are heading out to the next leg of their journey to enjoy subsequent holiday spirit and food.
The Trek is hosted by Betty from The High Tide. Most establishments of the Village participate. We were their second stop.
